RF Industries extends China contract
Solar module distributor RF Industries has extended its contract with Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer Trina Solar to the end of 2012.
The agreement, initially signed in January 2010, recognises RFI as exclusive Australian distributor for Trina’s products, with up to 40 MW of PV modules likely to be supplied this year.
“We believe the renewal and expansion of our long-term relationship will help us grow in this key, fast growing solar-friendly market,” said Jifan Gao, chairman and CEO of Trina Solar.
Founded in 1997, Trina is a solar industry pioneer and produces ingots, wafter and cells through to the assembly of high quality PV modules.
