$70,000 price tag for electric motorcycle
A futuristically-shaped ZecOO Electric Motorbike has been unveiled this year at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The petrol free bike designed by Kota Nezu of Znug Design is technically classed as a ‘Maxi Scooter’ and can achieve a top speed of around 75km per hour. The 28hp motor pumps out 46ft.lbs of torque and has a range of 135 kilometres. The bike comes with it’s own retractable recharging plug and takes 6 hours to fully recharge making it a good candidate for commuting purposes.
The design of the ZecOO bike has moved away from the more traditional look and looks more like something plucked from a science fiction movie. The streamlined bike has a sleek style with carbon fibre fenders on top of the single sided front hub steering jig and rear swing arm.
The ZecOO Electric Motorbike is set to be produced on a small sale and is expected to have a $70,000 price tag.
