Lachlan Colquhoun has had a 30-year career in journalism working for some of the industry’s premier mastheads and organisations all around the world. Beginning his career at the Adelaide Advertise, in Australia he has written for The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian Financial Review and BRWmagazine among many others. He also spent six years at ABC radio, ultimately working as executive producer of a daily current affairs program for Radio National. From 1997-2000 he was the Asian business correspondent for the London Evening Standard and after returning to Australia contributed to The South China Morning Post, The Financial Times, Financial News in London, The Scotsman, Ireland’s Sunday Business Post and the Argus group in South Africa. More recently he returned to his home-town of Adelaide to edit the Adelaide Review before returning to Sydney in 2009. He is also the managing editor of Insto magazine, Australia’s leading title covering debt capital markets.
